Join our Work|Exchange program
Dance Exchange strives to build reciprocal relationships with entrepreneurs and artists who are seeking discounted studio space for their programming. Work|Exchange participants partner with Dance Exchange staff to determine and execute work at our building, known as the Community & Creative Hub, in exchange for discounted studio space. The work at the Hub consists of stewardship (cleaning and maintaining the building spaces) and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The exchange rate is set at the City of Takoma Park living wage (currently $17.05 an hour), and we seek participants who can provide 5-10 hours/week with morning and evening availability. To learn more about our ongoing Work|Exchange program, please email creativehub@danceexchange.org.

Lead with Dance Exchange
Dance Exchange is seeking individuals to join us in deepening our commitments to community and the planet as we enter our next phase of growth. This includes advancing our Climate Initiative, aligning organizational practices with our values, strengthening our racial equity commitments, expanding creative partnerships, and collaborating on our next strategic plan. To explore what board service could look like with Dance Exchange, please contact development@danceexchange.org.

Thank you for your generosity and curiosity!
