This month, we are hosting Dance Exchange's 2024 Dance On Gathering—an in-person celebration of aging with dance, creativity, and connection! Join us on Saturday May 18th, from 11:00 am - 3:30 pm for an unforgettable experience filled with creativity and community.
Whether you're new to dance, a seasoned performer, a caregiver, an artist, a community leader, or a healthcare professional, there's something for everyone at the Dance On Gathering. If you're interested in dance, aging, or creative aging, you'll find experiences that move your body and spark your creativity.
What to Expect:
GATHER with fellow older adults, artists, and leaders in creative aging.
MOVE in dance and movement classes for all ages and abilities.
MAKE in workshops exploring nature, creativity, and collaboration.

1) MOVE Class - 11:00am to 12:30pm ET
Dance On with Joy!
Led by Dance On Lead Artist Judith Bauer and Maggie Waller, this exhilarating movement class welcomes dancers of all ages and abilities. From a grounding warm-up to improvisational exercises infused with social dances, join us for a joyful celebration of movement and connection.

Experience Nature and Creativity
Join Dance Exchange's Executive Artistic Director, Cassie Meador, and Ana Leilani Ka'ahanui for a transformative session combining Forest Bathing with creative engagement from the Moving Field Guide. Immerse yourself in nature, storytelling, and gentle movement to deepen your connection to the environment and community.
